Can I change the proposal’s effective date?

You cannot change the effective date on an existing proposal; you will need to use the copy proposal feature, create a new proposal, and select a different effective date. 

Can I create a proposal with an effective date on the 15th of the month?

Currently, the only effective dates available in Benefitter are the first day of the month.

Where can I find the proposed and final quotes for an enrollment?

You will find the Proposed and & Final Quote information on the enrollment module. Click on the quote icon located on the top center left- side of the page. The rates from the proposal will be listed on the page as soon as the enrollment has been created. The final quote rates will be listed after the employee enrollments have been completed.

Which browsers perform optimally with Benefitter?

Our applications performs less than optimal on Internet Explorer. We strongly recommend that you consider using Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.

What information should I provide when I contact support?

Please tell us the following information:

  • Briefly describe the problem in the subject line

    In the email body:

    • Provide a description of the problem (e.g. copy plan not visible on the proposal)

    • Include the client’s name

    • Indicate the proposal effective date
