UnitedHealthcare / Level Funded Specialty Plan Compatibility
UHC specialty plans (dental, vision, and life) can be compatible with UHC Fully Insured and/or All Savers® medical plans for enrollment/consolidated billing.
Benefitter has colored indicators and filters to show the compatibility of UHC dental and vision plans. All UHC life plans in Benefitter are compatible with both UHC Fully Insured and All Savers® medical plans
Click on the All Savers®/Fully Insured filters to determine which plans are compatible with All Savers®/UHC Fully Insured Medical plans.
- The blue box in the carrier filter indicates plans that are compatible with UHC Fully Insured plans.
- The white box in the carrier filter indicates the plans that are compatible with All Savers®/Level Funded/Oxford plans.
The legend on the left side of the page shows the plans that are compatible with Level Funded or UHC FI medical.
The same white and blue indicators are used on the available plans list.
Compatibility is also indicated in the notes on the plan details.
Humana Dental Riders
Benefitter enables you to add riders to Humana dental plans from some carriers. When a plan design value can be adjusted using riders, it will be displayed in grey and followed by an asterisk.
To choose add riders to a plan, click on the plus icon to select that plan for your proposal. This will bring up a view of all of the riders available for that specific plan.
After making any desired adjustments to the riders, click on the Add to Plan button to add the plan, with the selected riders, to your Selected Plans list.

You can adjust the riders to plans already on the Selected Plans screen by clicking on the edit (pencil) icon.
Make any desired adjustments to included riders and select the Update button to save your changes.
Benefitter automatically displays voluntary/contributory plans based on the selected employer contribution settings and participation rates, following the carrier’s rules, so you will not see an option for a voluntary rider.
