Reminder Emails for Medical Questionnaires

Employees who have not completed the questionnaire will be sent reminder emails as the medical questionnaire deadline approaches. We will stop sending reminder emails when the employee completes the questionnaire, when the rates are available (they may have uploaded them directly), or when the IMQ expiration date passes.

This has been fixed! We ensure that the system will not send tremendous number of emails notification regarding the IMQ/GRA.

Gender is required when creating new employees via enrollment/elections upload

When entering an employee/s manually or via upload, the broker/agent needs to enter the following required information.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth -OR- Age
  • Gender

Assign Firm User Access – check broker name not saving

The Assign Firm User access bug has been fixed. You should be able to put a checkmark of the person you want to collaborate with.

All Savers – Enrollment – Election spreadsheet includes dependents for EE (Employee Only) tier

Dependents should not be in the election spreadsheet if the tier is EE (Employee Only).

All Savers Employee Enrollment Spreadsheet Can Be Uploaded with Missing Information

Instead of requiring that all required information be included in the employee enrollment spreadsheet for All Savers groups, Benefitter will allow the incomplete spreadsheet to be loaded and will display a message calling out the missing information.

A PDF of the Proposal Can Now be Shared as An Attachment

Proposals shared by UHC virtual operations will now include a PDF of the proposal as an attachment.

Agent Profile – Changing Direct User Profile Photo Deletes Broker/Agency Firm Information


We ensure that when agents change/update profiles it won’t affect the Broker/Agency firm information.

All Savers – Final Rates – Missing EE on B9 after changing its info to resubmit to final

Any changes/updates made in the EE information, we make sure that it will all reflect the changes made not just on the census and on the elections page but also on the final quotes page before resubmitting the group to All Savers.

All Savers – Installation – Submitted for Installation status is not updating immediately after submission

There is no more latency after hitting the Submit for Installation button. The Install button will immediately be unclickable and will be grayed out to inactive.

All Savers – Proposal – Compatibility filter page reloads to Selected Plans page

When the All Savers Compatibility Filter setting is changed to your preferred option after saving the new filter criteria, it should update all the Available plans and stay in the same page so the agent can select more plans. Not to reload to the Selected Plans page.

All Savers – Out of date – Plans moving from Out of date to Underwritten

When a change has made to a group that has already received underwritten rates, it should mark out of date.

All Savers – Installation – Submitted for Installation status is not updating immediately after submission

After submitting a group for installation, the indicator should immediately appear as “Submitted for Installation” and the “Install” button should not appear anymore.

Final Rates Download Feature

This feature is (currently) available for the All Savers groups only. This allows you to download the final quote PDF when the Final Underwritten Quote is returned. The Final Rates PDF can be downloaded either from the proposal or from the Enrollment Final Quote page.

When a user navigates to the Proposal that is tied to the Enrollment, clicking on the download button will launch an overlay that allows you to choose which Proposal PDF or CSV you want to download: Final Underwritten Quote or the (preliminary) Underwritten Quote. The Final Quote PDF mirrors the Proposal PDF, but the cover page and the header of the pages will say “Final Underwriting” and the plan costs will have a “Final Quote” stamp instead of saying “Underwritten Quote”.

Medical Questionnaires at prelim PDF
We made sure that the SSN and date of hire are pre-filled out (from the census) in the PDF of the prelim medical questionnaires.

Enrollment Setup – UHC/All Savers “Package Savings Applied” note
The “Package Savings applied!” note stays hidden when the All Savers medical plan is inactive or when a UHC medical plan is not selected.

All Savers – Specialty compatibility – Warning message about not compatible plan
We ensure that the plans are compatible with each other when agents attempt to enroll in an All Savers medical plan alongside with All Savers specialty plan. If plans are not compatible, the system will still allow the users to proceed to the enrollment. However, a warning message will display letting users know that enrollment cannot be submitted electronically with All Savers.

Proposal Settings -the PEPM field is inactive but responsive
We fixed and ensure that under “Proposal Settings” if the field is inactive and greyed out, clicking on it shouldn’t cause any change on the PEPM amount.

Proposal – Carrier filter for promoted plans comes out empty
The “Promoted Plans” filter option will no longer be available when there are no promoted plans to show in a given zip code.

All Savers Installation- Paper ER Application link 
The ER Application “Do you have a paper Employer Application?” link will no longer be available after the broker submits the group for installation; this will prevent future errors and ensure that the installation requests will be processed smoothly and accordingly.

Proposal – Agent Presenter update warning
When making changes to the Agent Presenter, we relocated the “Warning Message” to not hide the Agent Presenter information. The message closes after the user select “cancel” if they decided not to proceed with the update.

New Message For Groups With Updated Information Since Receiving Final Rates

An overlay message on the checklist screen will be displayed if the group has been updated after final rates. This message will detail all changes made and alert the user that the group will need to be requoted.

Shortcut for UHC AEs to view groups that have been shared with them

AEs now have a Groups tab on their homescreen that displays the groups to which they have been given access by the user.

UHC FI Mid-Atlantic plan compatibility logic

Enrollments in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and DC will now check UHC fully insured medical plan compatibility by group size rather than looking for packages.

Wrong Agent Name Displayed when get NPN Error

The system now displays the correct agent’s name in the NPN error notification.

All Saver Changes Since Preliminary Underwriting notification

We fixed and made sure that when a proposal is stamped as Out-of-date because the census has been updated, it should appear on the proposal cover sheet under the “All Savers-Changes Since Preliminary Underwriting” notification. This includes all proposal changes, e.g., stop loss limit, COB. The changes notification should be displayed until the proposal receives the new/updated rates.

All Savers-Preliminary Underwriting GRX Quick Entry

Benefitter added a small enhancement to the Preliminary Underwriting GRX screen.  We added keyboard navigation on the Preliminary Underwriting GRX “Employee Information” section so that users can quickly go to the empty fields for faster completion.

UHC Specialty plans that cannot be enrolled via All Savers

Benefitter indicates in the proposal whether a UnitedHealthcare specialty plan can be enrolled alongside All Savers or whether it needs to be enrolled via the UHC fully insured systems (e.g. SAM); click here for more details.

Now, when creating an All Savers enrollment, if a UHC Specialty plan that cannot be enrolled through All Savers is selected, a warning message will be displayed in both the Enrollment Setup screen (when any of those plans are selected) and on the Enrollment Checklist page (before you submit).

New Rate Guarantee State Rules

The Rate Guarantee settings options (12 or 15 months) will be available for the KY and MO All Savers groups with the 06/01 effective dates, and send a signed Rate Guarantee form for the appropriate number of months.

*15 month rate guarantee for the state of Tx will be removed beginning effective date 05/01

Proposal Download Settings

When the broker clicks download a PDF Proposal, launch an overlay to ask the user:

  • What kind of Appendix do they want to display? Do they want to download it with no appendix, just the selected plans, or all the available plans for the selected carriers (default is selected plans)?
  • What payment frequency to display based on prices – Monthly, Semi-Monthly, Bi-Weekly or Weekly (default is monthly).

The appendix of the proposal has also been updated to show costs for the medical enrollment tiers.

All Savers Employee Elections – Enrollment spreadsheet overrides electronic enrollment

Bug Description: When uploading the spreadsheet, a pop-up message shows that the spreadsheet was missing 4 employees and marked as Declined for all insurance enrollment. After selecting continue, the first employee who completed the electronic was marked as declined, and the rest of the employees has not been included in the spreadsheet. Spreadsheet overrides the electronic enrollment even though the status remained “Completed electronically” and the elections were still complete.

Should be able to upload spreadsheet for some employees without overriding existing enrollments from other employees in the same group.

Information message of questionnaire to Not Eligible EE

Bug Description: After the spreadsheet is uploaded, there is a pop up message of EE name “G” missing the required questionnaire, but the EE G is Not Eligible. The message should not show to Not eligible EEs

All Savers – Election – The rule for dependent w/ disability is not reflected in FL

Bug Description:

Children enrolling in their parent’s medical insurance need to be 25 year old or younger (in Florida it’s 30 years old or younger).”

But the question in FL cases is not reflecting this FL specific rule.

All Savers Employer Application Step 4 of 5 – Account Number last digit only half hidden

Bug Description: The hidden view for the Account Number is only hiding half of the last typed digit.

Stop people from re-downloading the pdf while it’s downloading, and show a spinner

The pdf can take 10 minutes to download. Show a spinner while it’s downloading so people don’t think it’s broken, and disable the download pdf option while it’s in progress.

All Savers Preliminary UW – IMQ/GR isn’t updated when using steps links

Bug description: When I change the Claims Report criteria between Yes/No to have the Employee Information page updated between IMQ/GR, the Employee Information page is only updated when I use the NEXT button at the right-bottom of the page.

If I navigate through the three steps links at the center-top of the page, the page isn’t updated and the IMQ/GR doesn’t match the updated Claims Report criteria as it should.

All Savers – UW proposal – Unable to see the EE x EE cost details when a group is submitted to Final

Bug description: Once I have a proposal that is enrolled and submitted if I attempt to access the EE x EE cost details, all that I see is a spinner

Need to fill out the EFT authorization on the ER App when either the initial or ongoing payment method is EFT

Bug Description: Only EFT authorization section is filled on the ER App when the Ongoing payment is EFT.

EFT authorization should be filled out either the Initial or Ongoing payment is EFT.

All Savers – Proposal settings – Adjust lab/x-ray and drug list defaults available to set up

Bug Description: Allows the ALSV Compatibility settings to be set without underwriting being created. This setting relates to Plan Selection availability, and can be set before underwriting is considered

All Savers – Proposal and Underwriting dropdown with unassigned agents

Bug description: Agents are appearing at the Agent Proposal dropdown and at the Agent Underwriting dropdown even if accounts are not yet activated.

Agents that weren’t added in the firm user access should not be showing in either the agent proposal dropdown or the agent underwriting dropdown.

All Savers Supporting Information – After installation the text area should be uneditable

Bug description: After submitting for installation the Supporting Information text area in the Supporting Documents page is still editable and changes are saved if I click Save & Close button.

Since this information shouldn’t be changed at this point, the text area should be uneditable and for view only.

All Savers ER Application – Check payment deposit amount appears in PDF after changing to EFT

Bug description: On the employer application step 4 of 5,- selected CHECK as the Initial/Recurrent Method of Payment and filled the “Enter Check Amount. However, when the payment method was changed and selected EFT as the Initial/Recurrent Method of Payment, the amount/figure still appears when downloading the PDF, which should not be the case.

The Total Payment Deposit field should be empty on the PDF file if the initial payment method is EFT.

All Savers Paper Employer Applications

This will allow brokers to submit entirely paper Employer Applications, and skip the electronic Signature step.

At the bottom of the checklist, there will be a link with a question asking the brokers if they are doing paper ER applications. When they click on the link, it will take them to the supporting documents section and they can then upload the paper applications. Once applications are uploaded, they will then be marked completed on the checklist.

Download of Completed All Savers Employee Applications

Employee applications can now be downloaded as PDF.

When a user is in the Employee Elections screen in ALSV Enrollment, the download button that has an option to download the “General Elections Spreadsheet” now shows an option to also download the “Employee Application PDFs.”

Clicking on “download PDF” should only download the PDF(s) for the employee/s whose names are checked; they can also download the PDF Employee Applications of all the employees.

All Savers Plan Compatibility Filters

This feature allows ALSV plans to only show plans that are compatible with each other. The compatibility settings is in the Proposal Settings page, under the Medicare and Rate Guarantee settings.

There are 2 compatibility settings – Lab/X-ray and PDL (Preferred Drug List). Use radio buttons to choose each settings.

On the Medical Available Plans page, click the Carrier option to see the link for Lab/Xray and PDL (Preferred Drug List) plans compatible with UHC ALSV Medical Plan. Once you click the link, it will traverse you the ALSV/UHC FI proposal settings to allow you to navigate and select out of the two plans selection, use radio buttons to choose preferred settings.

Benefit Elections Summary EmailSubject Effective Date is not Correct

Bug description: The benefit election summary email’s subject line does not match the email notification sent to the employees after completing their benefit elections.

Email notification sent to the employees about the Benefit Elections Summary email now matched with the Enrollment effective date.

AllSavers Message in Enrollment Setup Appearing for Group Ineligible for All Savers

Bug description: Groups that are ineligible for All Savers, but still saw the All Savers message when completing enrollment plan selection.

  • This message would ideally only be displayed when someone actually selects an All Savers plan to include in the enrollment, but at a minimum it should not show for groups that can’t select All Savers plans or are creating an enrollment off of a proposal that has no ALSV plans selected.

All Savers – Out-of-date Proposal With Updated Costs

Bug description: The added employee/s reflect in the cost, and it’s appearing in the Eligible Employee list. An added employee should not reflect in the costs and should appear only in the “Changes Since Preliminary” list.

Bug description:

When a new employee is added to the census, the new employee shows $0.00 cost

  • When a new employee is added to the census, the cost per EE, ES, EC, and EF should automatically show.

All Savers – Submitted to Final Quote button status

Bug Description: After submitting to Final Quotes, the main button in the Checklist Page was updated to Resubmit to Final, no error messages appear. If I try to hit the Resubmit button I get a message informing me that All Savers is still reviewing the group.

Updated census message showing without census changes

Bug description
The Census Updated message in the proposal is appearing even when no census changes are made.
It was displayed when an underwriting questionnaire is completed and when an IMQ or GRX is submitted for underwriting
This message should appear only when some change is made.
